The ink was not only there but it was dried into the denim. It took a couple of days and most of the bottle, but that's still nothing compared to the loss of the jeans. The stain did come out, but it took time and patience. I don't think any product would have tackled the stain in a single shot. I would let the Dr. Beckmann product sit on the denim with a microfiber towel under it (inside the jeans, directly under the stain). The gel ink would slowly leach into the towel for about 12 hours. Then I would wash the jeans alone in cold water, and NOT dry them. I repeated this until the stain was gone. It took most of the bottle. I never let the jeans fully dry while treating them.
