Yes it’s ok but it isn’t as sturdy as others I have seen but those others weigh a lot more and as I am on a motor home weight matters. However I was comfortable climbing up to 10’ height, it collapsed just fine when finished remembering to keep your fingers AWAY when collapsing. All in all a good value for money; for use in a Rv it’s probably the best compromise between price and weight. I purchased this for a treehouse since I'm too old to climb the rope up the tree to the house (that actually stands alone). The bottom of the ladder is going into the ground. I'm currently searching for clamps to attach the top to the side of the angled ladder to the fascia. I could use the strapping used for securing water heaters, but I'm looking for something else more aesthetic.
