Projector Screen Paint - High Definition, 4K/8K, Ultra White - Quart

Fabulous option to an actual screen. Put about 5 coats since it was over a dark paint color but picture looks great. Visitors can’t tell the difference and love the idea of a permanent screen in place.

This is the way to do an affordable projection screen. A quart is enough to do two coats over roughly 8'x5'. Make sure to follow the instructions on the can and use a 1/4" nap roller for smooth surfaces. If you just grab whatever roller you have you WILL see the inconsistencies in strokes after it dries. (You would see this on very light scenes in a movie or game, such as the sky or white screens). I initially finished the second coat with a random roller from the garage and it was actually meant for rough surfaces. When it dried it showed some faint inconsistencies that my wife and family didn't notice but I did! When I corrected it by putting another layer up using the correct roller it was perfect. I used black felt tape for the trim and have a really nice 120" theater screen for less than any decent screen I could have bought and installed.

The paint works as advertised. Coverage was a little less than what I would have thought. Picture comes in very clear, but I’m not sure how different it would look had I purchased cheaper paint.

Great solution for permanent projector screen on wall of classroom. I used two coats since I had enough paint to cover my 10'w x 5'h wall. Make sure walls are smooth and primed beforehand.

This is a great product but draw the border lines and cut them in by hand. Don't use masking tape to create the border. When I pulled my tape the paint wanted to come off the wall in a solid sheet. I had to score the border of the tape to get it to come off cleanly. The picture is fine and the coverage is at least as good as what they advertise.

It goes on well and was cheaper than a new screen since we needed a BIG one. But, not convinced the price was worth it. If I Never needed to do again, I think I may save a lot of $$ and buy a good quality std white paint. Only used 1/2 gallon for screen size 6 ft x 11 ft, no primer, 2 coats on a dark green wal.

This paint works great in our family theater room! It shows the picture of games or movies really well! I only rate this 4 out of 5 because the paint had some lumps and pieces of dried paint through out it. We just wiped it off and painted over it again. It came perfectly packaged with no damage.

After hours of preparation, I found the best location for the screen. I tried the projector on the white primer, big hot spot in the middle. After painting with this screen paint it was all gone and the picture was higher contrast too. This paint does a great job for its purpose. I wouldn't try regular wall paint. I now have a nice 179 inch screen in my man-cave. I bought a gallon and only used half of it. I used a wagner sprayer and it was not fun, I had to clean it about every 10 minutes. If you spray, completely mask the wall into an enclosed small room they overspray turns to dust and gets everywhere, use a respirator mask
