In fact, on many occasions I've simultaneously pushed and steered one child on the tricycle with one hand, and another child in a cozy coupe with the other hand. **Q: If our child pedals but may needs a little push for power, can he still pedal and steer, or does the child lose pedal/steer control when pushed?** A: As long as he keeps pedaling, pushing won't stop him from doing so. A 2 year old doesn't understand pedaling. He just wanted to scoot it with his feet, which doesn't really work, and he would get so frustrated. Now, he loves this one, and so do I! He learned to pedal in one day, and was so proud of himself that he had to show everyone he could find lol. Now, I still have to help (push) some from time to time, and I love how easy it is for ME to steer it when needed, because for some reason he is obsessed with ramming parked cars.
