Unfortunately on the way home I had a rear tire blowout at 75 mph. If not for these boots my ankle would’ve been Severely injured. I highly recommend these boots and would definitely buy another pair. I saw these on sale for less than $60 and for that price, why not take a chance? I am in complete shock at how little I paid for such a nice pair of boots! They have the reinforced area for shifting and are super comfortable! I do not plan on testing on the water resistance part but they look to be sealed up pretty good for the inclement weather. They fit true to size for me at size 11, which is what I wear from everything from Adidas to Vans. I love the look of them too and will be buying another set just to have as a back up! Joe Rocket, great job! I highly recommend getting a set! It was tight on my calf until I used the velcro on the back to adjust the width, which I thought was really cool. The zippers are very cheap though and I think they will be the first thing possibly break. I ride a F700GS and they did great on the 2 hours ride yesterday. They don't have a great bend at your ankle like the more expensive boots but maybe they will break in a little more.
