Review: Started with a bruised ego, but now I don't want to live without it. - My chronic illness has progressed to the point to where my PT suggested I get a rollator walker for my bad days. As I'm sure many others do, I found this difficult to accept and fully wrap my head around, but I knew she was right. I compared a lot of walkers and this was the only one that checked all of my boxes, but I just couldn't bring myself to hit "buy." The thing that finally gave me the courage to do it was seeing photo reviews from people who are young like me. So I promised myself I would come back and write a review to pay it forward to other young people who may be struggling emotionally with getting a walker. Every single time I've used it, I've said "oh my god, I love this thing so much." I have hypermobility and an autoimmune disorder, so on the days where I'm in a lot of pain, heavily fatigued, or generally unstable (or all of the above), this walker has been a lifesaver. Even on my "okay" days where I didn't feel like I needed it but brought it along just in case, I've thought to myself "wow, is this what walking is supposed to feel like?" because it just provides so much stability and I always have a seat no matter where I go. I just pull up on the strap near the seat and it can go right in my compact SUV, my husband's sedan, or be tucked out of the way whenever I need to do that. - height is very adjustable and is accommodating of someone that's 5' tall - 14" wide seat with storage. Every other walker either had a 12" seat, which I felt would be very uncomfortable, or 18+", which was totally unnecessary for me and wouldn't be low-profile. - super sturdy. The build is high quality and the brakes are strong and easy to operate. I've used this walker while actively subluxated and it's kept me standing. The only thing I had trouble with is the brake cables. Because I'm so short and this walker is designed to be adjustable to a wide range of heights, putting it on the lowest setting makes the brake cables stick out really far and they kept catching on walls or knocking things over. So I just put some Velcro loops around them and tied the slack down to the sides of the walker. Problem solved. All that to say: if you're hesitating, just do it. And if you're still feeling bummed about it, put a bunch of silly stickers on your walker like I did.

**Q: How wide is this walker?  Will it fit through narrow bathroom doors>**
A: My toilet door frame is 23 inches wide.  The door doesn't open all the way so the actual clearance is 22".  This rollator is about 24" at its widest point (the wheels in back).  I moved the rear wheels to the inside of the frame on the opposite side.  This makes the rear part to the rollator MUCH narrower and it fit though.  I did need to adjust the cable length by messing with the screws at BOTH ends of the cable, and to temporarily disconnect the screw mounting the handle lever to the rest of the system to be able to reattach the brake cable to the pivoting serrated brake  part.  I think I'll leave some pictures in a review>

**Q: how much does it weigh**
A: My Drive Rollator weighs 13 lbs.  Much lighter then many of the others.  I found it relatively easy to get it in and out of the trunk of my Toyota Camry.

Drive Medical highly advises against using this rollator while sitting to move yourself. It can be very unsafe as too much weight towards the front or the back could cause the rollator to slip and the placement of the brakes makes it difficult to stop the rollator from the seated position. If you are looking to sit down and use your feet to propel you it is recommended that you look at a wheel chair. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GLAD I PURCHASED!!

I had almost grown weary of looking at so many rollators, reading reviews and comparing prices, but I kept coming back to this one due to the great reviews, the quality of the product, and the price! It fit my needs of having a comfortable and wide enough seat; extension of handles for my 5'10 height; being within the weight bearing range of 234 lbs; light enough that I will be able to lift it in and out of the trunk of the car easily, even with my disability. The brakes work great, so there was no need for any adjustment. As my posture has changed since my recent hip replacement this walker helps me to stand up straighter than the aluminum walker did. It glides over carpet so easily and maneuvers corners great! The shipping was fast, ordered on a Wednesday night and received Friday morning. It was just wrapped in plastic, not a lot of protection, but nothing was broken or out of place. I put it together in about 20 minutes and it's true that no tools are necessary. I'm pleased with this purchase!! Hope you will be too!
