MADE IN CHINA WITH GOOD QUALITY. **Q: Is the blanket stitched so that the center layer doesn't shift or get bunched up?** A: Yes! Nothing worse than the layers separating, but this blanket doesn’t have that problem. It is probably one of my favorite amazon purchases! **Q: If you were to put sand on top of it; will the sand sift through it?** A: No. But this is not recommended at all for beach since a huge amount of sand will stick to the back. You can shake it like crazy in 30mph wind or smack it with a tennis racket for an hour or even hose it down and back will still be covered in sand.
