## Questions & Answers

**Q: what size shackle fits the hole for it?**
A: Standard 3/4" shackles will fit the larger hole at the bottom of the image to the left of the locking pin as shown in the main image for the Jackmate lift here on Amazon.

**Q: why did it not fit on your jack.  Hi lift states it will fit "all".**
A: The JackMate does not fit all hi-lift jacks. I have a red, all cast 48" Hi-lift jack brand jack and it did not slide onto the bar. After two hours of sanding the paint off of the corners of bar on the jack, it finally fit. If you have an older model; mine was 10 years old, prepare for modifications if you want to use it.

**Q: When will these be back in stock i cant find them anywhere! this is an absolute must have piece for a hi lift jack. what do i have to do to get one?**
A: I just spoke with the manufacturer, they are going to re-introduce the product back into the market in about a year from today.

**Q: The biggest complaint i have read is with the fit.  Does anyone know if this will fit the hi lift (pat-485) blue 48" jack?**
A: With so many companies around the world making copies of the Hi-Lift, it is hard to absolutely fit all, but we seem to be doing amazingly well. One problem we see is that some companies shear the bar instead of sawing it, and the shear leaves a lip on the end that blocks the JackMate. Try taking the lip off the end of the bar to see if the JackMate will then slide onto the bar.
