This bottle is distributed by BMW. At 4 oz concentrate to 28.5 oz water the mix will freeze at 20 degrees F. Here in Minnesota during Dec to March I use 8 oz concentrate to 12 oz Water for a freeze point of -25 F. I think in New York this would be overkill. **Q: Can I use this on Mercedes Benz?** A: Yes! I used it without any issues. Its better than the stuff Mercedes wants you to use. There are some fluids that will cause the float to sink. Mercedes are sensitive to specific gravity I guess. I have been buying them "in bulk," but I live in a wintery climate. For one fill in a warm-ish climate one bottle will get you through a year (mixed with ~30 ounces of water). If they salt your roads during the winter and you have the ever-present white haze for months on your car and intend to keep the car awhile buy a dozen (~$7.91/ bottle when purchased in that quantity). If you have a friend or family member who has a BMW split a 12-pack. I like to have extra bottles around and I keep one in the car during the winter.
