Perfect fit for my Dodge Nitro. I upgraded from a double-din mount to a single-din for a larger “floating screen” head unit. This fit in the dash opening, exactly how it should. The trim panel went in place, nice and tight!

This kit worked perfectly for my new Sony XAV-AX8500 floating screen headunit in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler. I had been using a Metra kit that had an inaccessible tray that took up precious space for wires and adapters (e.g. Maestro MRR2), and mounting tabs that would come lose when adjusting the screen, especially side to side. The Scosche plastic is much heavier and the side tabs lock very tightly once the headunit is inserted into the dash. Although the beveled edges around the headunit opening looked great around the screen hinge and are mostly covered by the floating screen anyway, I can understand the complaint of other reviewers that it creates a gap around a single DIN unit. Rock solid for a floating screen though!

It does fit a 2013 Dodge avenger, but not well. There is no documentation and it is missing screws to hold the sides onto the radio. The radio is being used with has a front that is not exactly squared, and it is giving the Kit problems. For a square faced radio, with no frills, it should be fine as long as you have the screws.

I've been doing car audio for 28 years and have seen and used everything. Metra. Schoshe. Best Kit. Some brands are better for certain makes than others. When it comes to 06-12 Chrysler vehicles, the Schoshe is the best. Metra doesn't offer a single din kit without a pocket. In my opinion the pockets are cheesy. Especially if you are using a floating screen. Then they just become useless. My local distributor switched from Schose to Metra so I have to buy them online now when needed. Super solid kit. They fit great. They look great. Can't go wrong.

This fit perfectly on my 2008 Dodge Superbee! I needed a single din slot to fit a Pioneer DMH-WT7600NEX. The hole for where the audio unit fits is centered and made it easier for me to install my unit. The surface of it also matches the car's interior trim pieces.

This one is wayyyyyy better than the metra one for single DIN especially because of the way it locks in the side plates. great for ISO mounting (the metal sleeve) as well and it does not have the goofy shelf that you can't see if your are using a floating screen. The metra one does not effectively lock the head unit in place and you can easily just pull it out. would also work great on 2009 to 2012 Ram 1500s.

Very good mount, much better than the one Crutchfield sent with Radio.

Easy to install makes the stereo look stock would buy it again

It looks OK. I had to trim the plastic a bit , to get the radio to fit. Then a bit of tape to hold face plate in place.
