Best suited to lightweight dress fabrics H180 lining has a weight of 37 grams per square metre. With an excellent hold on difficult stylish materials such as viscose, acetate and cupro fabrics H180 is comfortable to wear but with a strong yet flexible feel. This interfacing is a lightweight, soft and fine non-woven interlining made of synthetic fibres which is also fusible and can be ironed on. This is done by applying the interfacing on dry and using a medium iron setting, pressing down firmly and slowly for about 8 seconds, 5 or 6 times. Then allow to cool flat completely to help the adhesive set, this should take about 20 minutes. Measuring 90cm wide this interlining is sold from half metre lengths right up to the 25 metre roll. H180 is offered in 2 colours: Charcoal or White, giving you the confidence to select the correct interlining shade for your fabric project. This H180 interlining is White - 308 and is size 1M x 90cm. Is it breathable? As i purchased some interfaceing lately that was too thick.** A: Interfacing comes in various weights but you should use the very light iron-interfacing for face masks, this goes in the middle with a fine cotton fabric at the front (like shirting or lawn cotton) and a thin muslin or lawn cotton as the inside lining. I find this works ok for face masks. **Q: How much does this weigh?** A: I’m not exactly sure how much this weighs but it’s very light. I’d say a piece the size of a paper tissue weighs the same as a paper tissue. I mean the paper tissues you find in a pack of 10 to put in your handbag not the paper tissues from a box of tissues. **Q: Can you wash this product?** A: Hello! Yes, Vilene recommend washing this at no more than 40 degrees and you can use any solvent on it except for tetrachlorethylene. **Q: Would this work to reinforce some tiny moth holes in mid weight silk taffeta trousers?** A: I used a light-weight iron on vilene to reinforce some t-shirts which had many small holes in them made by my Pandora charm bracelet.
