Nightstick NS-HMC1 Multi-Angle Helmet Mount

My reasons for purchasing these may be a bit unusual, but they are the perfect solution: My Sons are Cub Scouts, and I have them (and Me) in Source Assault hydration packs which are a perfect size and format for them. I got the Condor flashlight pouches so they would have a light secure but easy to access and needed durable not too heavy kid resistant lights for them that would not break the bank. These are nice and light, shock and water resistant, the right format, and decent run time. The only partial negative is that the CR123 batteries are not as cheap or readily availble as AAs or AAAs, but that was a known compromise and they have the benefit of MUCH longer storage life without issues. The mount is a bonus even thought we are not using them. Great light, would be an awesome purchase for emergency kits and gloveboxes since the batteries are long term storage stable and reliable, just keep some extras on hand.

Excellent flashlight at a reasonable price.

Works perfect and mounts easy to helmets. Love that it’s designed to fold down and up. Don’t even notice it since it’s light weight. Not overly bright but definitely not dim.

Very bright and handy light. Easily clamps to your fire helmet. I purchased this light without checking my departments approved helmet mounted light briefing report but luckily found after the fact that this light was 1 of only 2 approved lights! I gave this item only 4 out of 5 stars for one reason. The set screws were just barely long enough. They are completely maxed out and so not as secure as I would like it to be on my cairns 1044 helmet. This does alow the light to move out of place a bit from time to time. I would simply find some longer set screws to counter this issue. Overall, BUY IT!! I’d also just like to add that if your trucks are anything like ours, they are not equipped with enough hands free lights for all crew members, so if you’re one of the odd men out without a light, this light will always be there to save you. I should also mention if you mount your light on your jacket, you know the uncomfort you feel with a light under your scba.. this light will resolve that uncomfort as well.

Great value. Holds up to daily wear. The mount allows for lots of adjustments which is nice to get it exactly where you want.

This works great! I wanted a light option on my 664 Invader lid. Went right over the edge protector on the lid. I am using an old SureFire light and it fits perfectly. I wanted an option to put it on the top of the Brin instead of underneath. It will mount underneath if you choose to do so. The only thing I would suggest is putting some locktite on the parts that needed to be tightened down on the lid. Otherwise, a great alternative!

I bought this as a backup to my streamlight helmet mounted light. It's not as compact as the streamlight obviously but it's a lot cheaper and nearly as bright. Not sure if it would hold up as well as the streamlight in a structure fire. I currently have it mounted on my backup helmet that I use for car accidents or rescues. It's easy to mount. It's easy to turn on/off with gloves on.

I got this flashlight the day before we were doing a burn session at the training center. With your structure gloves on it is very easy to turn the light on and off. I like the mount on the flashlight as well. I read a few reviews to add some locktite to the screws which I did. Now in the burn building itself. Even with all the smoke it penetrated through it, and I could make my way through an could see objects around me. It was acutally brighter than my partners helmet mounted streamlight.I did drop my helmet with the flashlight on it approximately 5 feet. it did not budge or loosen. As well the flashlight besides a few scratches still works perfect.

I am using this to hold my Polytec flashlight on my firefighting helmet as there is no other light holders that I could find. It made of solid aluminum and adjustable with the screws, it comes with an Allen wrench to be able to adjust the light and mounting configuration anyway you want. So far so good, I will update if anything goes wrong but I don't see anything but positives.

Product works great, easy to mount on helmet. Light wasn’t starting right away, tightened down the front of the flashlight and it worked perfect. After first fire the adjustable part needed tightening easy fix. Light doesn’t cause any glare off visor which is nice 👍🏻 would recommend

nice light helmet light, it's bright enough for structural fires and auto ex. Good value for the money.
