Let’s just say I’m a hydration pack whore. Have over a dozen of them. This one was purchased for Mt. biking to replace an Ogio Erzberg 1L with the same type retention system. I waned a little more water hence going with the 2L but also wanted the same “no bounce” retention system. The Ogio bladder sucks. I have broken 3 of the plastic tabs that lock the Ogio bladder closed which then allows it to leak. I was specifically looking for one of the standard slide closure systems like on this USWE pack. One point on USWE on that. Second and what I am most surprised about Is the ultralight weight of the UWSE pack and how it’s made. It reminded me of a high end backing backpack. Rip stop material, padded and mesh shoulder pads with multiple fit adjustments on the shoulders and chest area. Super well made with reflective touches. I was worried about strap and loop system on the back getting caught on things but they are small enough that this is not the case. Let’s be clear, this pack is small and form fitting to the body which is why it stays put when you ride. I have larger bags but wanted something small because if there is room, you will fill it up, yielding more weight. You will get enough space for 2L of water and about the same volume in extra storage. Just enough for an spare tube, tool, phone and a few other small things. There is an individual cell phone pocket inside and a small divider between the bladder and your gear. Overall a great pack, well made and very light weight but nothing sacrificed in quality. Pricy but the retention system makes it worth it, awesome build quality and the small flag of Sweden on it is kind of a cool and unique. Hell of a product. I usually don’t leave reviews but I was very impressed with this pack and the USWE products in general. Hope it helps, see you on the trail. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Hydration Pack I've ever owned *by M***K on Reviewed in the United States on August 26, 2020* The beautiful thing about this pack is the fit and where the weight sits (right between your shoulder-blades). I've had numerous "traditional" packs (osprey, camelback, etc) with regular shoulder/chest/hip straps and none of them are as unobtrusive as this. So, my Osprey Raptor has only been getting used for hiking, while this pack has taken over all mountain biking, roller-blading, trail running, etc. Further, they now have a GoPro compatible strap attachment that's absolutely flawless. Lastly, the bladder is easily on par with Osprey/Camelback and even has the same mouth-piece (bite valve) as the osprey pack that I have.I only have a single negative thing to say - I wish they had a magnetic attachment for the hydration hose instead of the little clip on the chest strap. My osprey Raptor has this, which makes it so you can take a drink and just drop the hose after - the magnets automatically find each other, which keeps the hose out of the way, without any screwing around. This really allows you to keep your eyes up, so you can see where you're going.
