I bought straws that are silicone wrapped in stainless steel which fold up into a plastic container. The concept is great but execution is terrible — liquid gets between the silicone and stainless steel and they’re impossible to clean/dry. I drank iced coffee through one last week and after two trips through the dishwasher and endless hand washing it still tastes like coffee. I’m incredibly disappointed they changed the entire design following my purchase and I wasted money on the ones I have. I'm not entirely sure that it wasn't tampered with by one of my little ones.
