The transmitter is cover under warrenty from Polar for 12-24 mos depending on the model you purchased. The strap is only covered for 6mos. **Q: Does any one know the measurement of the small vs medium. I think I need to buy a new one it came with medium?** A: My chest is about 40" (maybe larger) and I'm a medium build here. I bought the M-XXL size and it fits great. I have enough to let it out further and plenty of space to tighten it.
