Review: Great strings. - These are my go-to for 20 years. Reasonably priced, great strings that don't tend to break unless by my own idiocy. There are more expensive brands, coated, with gimmicky promises, these are better (in my view). Strings that claim to last longer never do, strings that claim theyre brighter may be brighter, but not for very long. No BS, good, reliable strings that sound and play great. Don't fall for hype strings, your wallet and your music will thank you. Pro tip. If you wash your hands before you play, you could extend the brightness and life of your strings far beyond what an gexpensive gimmick set ever could.

**Q: So does this come with all 6 strings? Im completely new to guitars.**
A: Yes, this is a full set.Specifically this is a set of 3. If you want just one select the 1 pack. (I tried to include a link but Amazon defaults it to the 3 pack for some reason)It is possible to look up and find individual strings, but honestly that ends up being more difficult in my opinion and for the cost you might as well grab a set.I am fairly new to guitars as well, so let me just take a moment to say these strings are highly recommended. Great choice.

**Q: Have a EJ200 Epiphone. Would like to replace strings.  What type of D'Addario strings do I use?**
A: I have a 45 year old Martin d-28 I use the extra light strings EJ 15 3 Dbecause I like to fingerpickthey have a very good warm soundif your guitar is fairly new try the light gauge strings they sound very good too and you can buy 3 packs for under $15 at Amazon. D'Addario makes a good string and I find they last a long time. I highly recommend!

**Q: I bought these for my son and the first two strings broke when he was putting them on. We are on the third set in twenty minutes**
A: When you put on a string, you have to allow enough slack for the string to coil around the tuner post. Feed the string through and leave enough slack so you can  pull the string about 4 inches above the fret board and then slowly wind it up and as it tightens, pause once in a while let the string stretch. Some strings can take a day to stretch, some don't. Be patient. Good luck...but if you don't leave slack for coiling strings will break.

**Q: What 0.10-0.27 means? what is high strung tuning? is it a regular string set for acoustic guitar? and is this set light, medium or hard? thank you**
A: In “high-strung tuning” (also known as “Nashville tuning”), the bottom four strings are tuned an octave higher than standard tuning, like the second set of strings on a 12-string guitar. The top two strings are pitched to standard tuning. Because the strings are a thin gauge, they are by definition light gauge. A guitar with the higher pitch of Nashville tuning is a good accompaniment to many songs.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ IMHO the best acoustic strings sold at any price

I will keep this short. The price is unbelievable, it's nice to have three sets in a box and these are the best acoustic strings on the market. That's only my opinion and everyone has one......so many will disagree. I have an regular acoustic and an acoustic electric and strung both with these strings. It made each guitar sound like a 3 thousand dollar guitar. I find that most inexpensive guitars have cheap strings, most can be vastly improved with something as simple as new strings. I really believe in these strings. When I find a good thing, I am hooked and I will not use anything BUT these on anything acoustic. On a guitar, strings are everything. The tone feel and bend is what's important. These are very light and VERY easy on the fingers, unlike clunky stock strings on most acoustics. I guess they think you need big, think strings to produce volume....not so. Some will disagree saying they break if they're too thin. I would rather have a shorter life with strings, getting a pure beautiful, rich sound than have a long lasting flat string. My thick stock strings were killing my fingers. These are effortless to play and sound so sweet and mellow, just like an acoustic should sound. Again, someone will chime in and bash me for saying this...but I would put my inexpensive Yamaha up against guitars costing 10 times what I paid. I have no plans of changing brands now I've made the string switch. Some say thin strings break easily, but you should change strings often anyway. I can do a string change-over in about 15 minutes on a bad day. It's worth the effort. I don't plan on hammering my acoustic anyway. That's what the Fender is for. AND it's not that I'm cheap either. I own 18 guitars, 16 of which are electrics. 3 Gibson Les Paul's, 2 Fender Strats (one American) a couple of Dillions (another great find) and some other nice guitars. My Acoustic is just an inexpensive Yamaha 700 but is a very nice guitar for the money. But after changing the strings it sounds like an expensive Martin. It didn't take me long to throw a set of these on my acoustic electric and got the same results. 5 stars in my book, more if they'd allow that. There are no other options unless someone gives me a set that blow me away.
