The hardened bottom definately is a must and this one is good and thick. I like that this bag is a back pack style bag because again I keep a lot of heavy tools in it and it's nice carrying it on my back rather than holding onto it in one hand and walking on a tilt. I like the loops on the outer pockets. I have some Velcro straps that I use to strap my rolled up leather apron and canvas sleeves to the loops. That makes it easier to get to the stuff in the bag. So far everything on this bag has held up but I have only had it for 5 months so far. I got this as a review and I have made it my Full time tool bag. The only down side is there isn’t a great place to hold my laptop but that’s fixed by using a nylon sleeve that I already had. If you need a sturdy and long lasting bag this is the one to get.
