First Aid Only Tablet Crusher, with Deposit Compartment, Blue, Plastic, P-100031 Units

I bought this to crush tablets to put into my cat’s food as he has been prescribed a large number. He wouldn’t take the tablets whole. So I had been crushing them myself. It’s fair to say that this product does a much better job than me with the back of a spoon! The product is small, has two compartments. One is the crushing section with a plunger that you twist to retract to insert the tablet, then twist back on to crush it. At first it didn’t crush but I realised that was because I needed to keep crushing even when it became more difficult. You do need to go at it with a bit of force! I think you could control whether you want a roughly crushed consistency or a powder, according to how much you keep twisting and grinding with the plunger. The second compartment is a place to store tablets and it has a divider there. It would be ok for whole tablets, but if you wanted to transfer the crushed tablet, it would be difficult and you’d need a separate container because both compartments are on different ends. All in all a great tool, inexpensive, well-made and one that is fulfilling its function.

Well made and sturdy. Made the crushing of tablets a lot easier then trying to use two spoons Easy to clean and clear plastic lets you see the results. Would recommend. Good price

Pretty good but with tiny tablets you will loose some in a fine dust coating over the large mechanism.

After using this to crush pills for my dog, I noticed that there was a blue tinge to the powder which is transfer of micro plastics from the crusher. We have stopped using and now looking to purchase a metal one.

I got this tablet crusher for crushing up my cat's medicine (as you vet first if it is okay to crush) as he was struggling to eat them whole himself and he hates it being force-fed (understandable honestly) so I decided to research crushers. I decided on this one as there was a compartment to store pills which meant the medicine and the crusher were always together and there wasn't a risk of it accidentally being used for crushing a person's pills. The plastic is high quality and sturdy. It is incredibly easy to crush pills - before we were using scissors or pliers to cut the tablets. I just place one in the middle and turn the handle a few times and it quickly turns into a smooth dust which I just sprinkle onto my cat's food. Because it is crushed so fine it does leave behind a little but it is easy to wipe it with a finger and get the rest off. If you wanted something that cuts pills into sections then I wouldn't recommend this crusher. However, if you wanted something that can crush pills for mixing into water/yoghurt then this would be perfect. Great value for money and I wish I had bought it sooner. I will buy another one if I need one for human pills.

Doesn't work on bigger/harder pills. Tried it on the dogs' worming pills and it didn't crush them either. Works ok on small pills but I don't have a problem swallowing those!

pas du tout utile. Il faut déjà couper les médicaments en 2 voir 4 avant utilisation. Les médicaments sont mal broyés - inutilisable

Mes chats sont âgés (15 et 18 ans) et ont régulièrement des médicaments à prendre. Avec ce produit, fini de passer 10 minutes à écraser les comprimés dans leur pâtée et à en mettre de partout. Je ne peux que recommander ! Le médicament est bien écrasé même s'il faut visser / dévisser deux ou trois fois. C'est ultra simple. Il y'a même une double ouverture pour stocker les comprimés.

This product does NOT deserve 1 star. I bought this tablet crusher for my cats tablets. It is only able to crush a tablet to a certain point. After the tablet is in small pieces the grinder is unable to mill the tablet into a fine powder. Save yourself the hassle and just use a kitchen spoon. I definitely do not recommend
