My new Instantpot wouldn't seal right.. the silver seal valve would just sputter and wouldn't pop up when it was supposed to, sealing in the steam to build the pressure... I had to maually help it all the time. Finally, it just wouldn't hold the seal at all. So I purchased this kit that replaced the big seal for the lid, the black release valve, and the small silver sealing valve piece with its silicone cap. I tested it out with just water, and it worked beautifully. It sealed like it was supposed to no problem- no spitting. As soon as the steam started, it sealed, and the pot was up to temp and pressure faster than it has before. I then cooked chicken in it like I usually do, and it, again, worked wonderfully. I gave it 4 stars for the "easy to install", as it was a little tough to get the silicone cap the new valve in place correctly, and I ruined one of the caps before I figured it out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits & thick *by P***. on August 14, 2024* Pliable to fit onto instant pot lid but feels thick & durable.
