I should know better than to buy something like this online because you cannot see the detail. I was disappointed that the "linen" backing fabric is really just linen in color but looks more like burlap roughly glued to a backing. The weave is much larger than most linen I'm familiar with. The glass on the frame is not glass but a thin plexiglass. I'm okay with plexiglass because it's lighter than glass, but this plexiglass is much thinner than expected. The straight pins provided with the frame are cheap-cheap-cheap. The ball heads were multiple (garish) colors rather than one simple color, and most of them were chipped or broken. The pin itself was thin and bent easily. The size and depth of the frame was perfect. The design, with the inner frame to press things in place was also good. Comes with a foam backing and pins to hold things to the foam. The only thing that concerns me is the plastic stays that hold the back on once it is assembled. I envision them giving way over time. Would have preferred something more like spring metal.
