I used to style my hair in a short to medium-length fauxhawk and nothing else I have used did the job as well as Gatsby did. I had tried numerous other products from your standard hair aisle at the store, ranging from gels, clays, pastes, and other types of waxes, but Gatsby's hold is far superior. It's easy enough to go into the hair and style when damp, but also gives you enough hold when it dries to last you nearly the entire day, with only minimal re-styling throughout. It is a bit on the stickier side and will leave a good amount of residue that will take a few washes to get out unless you are shampooing every day (which you shouldn't be). It also has a light, fruity scent that is pleasant to the nose, but not overbearing. An added bonus is that the size is just under 3 ounces, meaning that you're able to bring it in your carry-on without any problems while flying! One 3 ounce container usually lasted me around 2-3 months, depending on usage.
