I didn't have the Y-0 screwdriver so using the one in the kit, I thought it worked well, it even had a magnetic tip so the really small screws could stick to it and not get lost--this is important later. The plastic pick was great for prying the outer case open as well as the plastic tabs that you need to unlock a few of the ribbon cables. The tweezers were nice, but honestly looked rather sharp so I opted to use my fingers to pull apart the ribbon cables for the most part so I wouldn't accidentally cut or bend them. I have small hands so this may be just easier for me.Cons: The first analog stick I installed registered quite off-centered when it was neutral, so I had to take apart the joycon a second time to test the other analog stick. The second one was VERY close to perfect, but would register as slightly off center on the Stick Calibration screen (a circle would appear in the center of the crosshairs instead of the + for neutral/no input, or it would flash between circle and + rapidly). Using the re-calibration command fixed this, so it's only a matter of time to see how long this will last. I had a total of 800+ hours of gameplay on my games before starting to get drifting issues on that particular joycon. I had originally planned on using both replacement analog sticks, one for each of my left joycons (a yellow and a blue), but since the first analog stick was particularly off-center, I'd rather try ordering a different set elsewhere.One minor con was the phillips head screwdriver worked, but frustratingly it was not magnetic. I thought that was an odd choice considering the Y-screwdriver was magnetic, and that there were a few small screws with really short stems, and they were all phillips screws on the interior. I would have lost the smaller screws if it wasn't for the magnetic tipped Y-screwdriver. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars So much satisfaction. *by E***L on Reviewed in the United States on May 13, 2019* I purchased this product to fix my left joycon, and had high hopes that my only issue was the joystick. It turned out to be more. I tested both joysticks in my controller, and neither fixed my issue, i placed them into my right joycon to see if it was the product. It was not, they worked well and felt like new, while it did not help my current issue, I am more than satisfied with these replacement analog sticks. However the screwdrivers are subpar, and i ended up using my own set, but they will get you by well enough if you don't already own some. The whole kit came nicely packed in a small metal tin about the size of a wallet, which i will reuse for some other item. I installed both metal locks as well and they fix the jiggling of joycons when connected to the switch, if that's a problem you have. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Does exactly as you'd hope and description says it does. *by M***W on Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2019* Despite what other reviews have said the tools included worked for me perfect. I had two left hand joycons with same issue (one would start to move up on its own and the other down). Installed the replacement cons about 2-3 weeks ago and they endure daily use from myself and my 5 year old (he can be a bit rough on the sticks). Neither have started to drift/move on their own again. Definitely ordering a backup set for when the issue occurs again.Note the joycons even look/feel just like the official Nintendo factory sticks.*Update* needed to purchase a new replacement kit as both joycons I replaced in mid May have started drifting again. Expect about a month and a half lifespan from these sticks before issues return.
