My problem was the remaining glue after the stickers were removed. It's not really a problem if you know how to remove it. I keep a roll of duct tape in the garage. It's handy for lots of projects. In this case, cut a piece about 6" or so long and press the sticky side on the glue residue on the cane and remove it quickly. The glue on the duct tape is stronger than the glue on the cane. Just continue the pressing and quickly removing, until it is all removed. This technique works on every label I've ever tried it on and there are no chemicals involved. **Q: Will it bend ?** A: no, will not bend **Q: does this cane fit in overhead compartment on a plane?** A: I would first check with airlines usually crutches etc. are stored in the front by the flight attendant. It can be made smaller for sure but I don't know if it would quite fit in the overhead compartment. I don't think they would allow for the possibility of it falling out when someone opens it. Buy this great cane – great quality, great price, and worthless tip that will INJURE your cane arm and your cane elbow. Order BCAUTAY 4 – Pack HD three-quarter inch cane tips with your order for this cane. Upon arrival of the cane, immediately remove cane tip and re-tip with a BCAUTAY replacement. Makes such a difference. I used mine for some number of months before I wore out the Tip and was suffering from a sore cane arm and cane elbow. Replaced Tip with mentioned tip replacement and WOW!!
