I love that there is a red light that comes on at night so it actually looks like a real camera. I think these would be an excellent deterrent for anyone looking to beef up security around their house. They are definitely worth every penny, as far as I am concerned. They take two double AA batteries, which are easy enough to replace. They were easy to install and came with great instructions. Would highly recommend!

Remember the batteries cause it doesn't come with them. The cameras looks great and very realistic. Just the red led isn't that bright during the night time. I matched the camera up with a motion sensing led light. Looks real too me. I only have 4 stars because of the led not bright.
