May as well have been put together from balsa wood. ### ⭐ I wish I would have done more research first... *by T***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2014* This coop assembles easily and looks great. However, it is light-weight wood and very thin. There is no mechanism for attaching it to the ground or securing the run against predators that may dig under. The finish on the wood does not protect it from water or weather of any kind. The box that would house the chickens is very small and the nesting box has one divider and two areas. This coop says it can house up to 4 birds, but I think three would be the max and that would be a tight fit. The run is really small for birds to move around during the day, considering where the ladder is and that food and water have to be inside as well. I wish I would have researched further and purchased a pattern to build a coop or purchased a larger coop with an option to by a run that could attach. This will have to do, since it's here and set up, and hopefully with the roof we're designing for over the unit plus an additional attached run we're building, it will be enough for the chickens.
