Self doubt seems to follow me around like the proverbial albatross around my neck. But this book articulates the ideas - of self talk - into an easy to digest perspective. It seems too easy - and in fact - it is - to just change the dialogue I have with myself. But it is a bit more complex. Yet, the first half of the book provides evidence and supports why this simple and effective method of communication with myself works. But it does take time to turn off the tape recorder that has been playing for decades. The second half of the book is full of affirmation statements by category.
