I am pleased with the appearance of silver on black
These lids are light weight, which is exactly what I expected. I purchased 2. Many Wok recipes require frequent, fast lifting and replacing of the lid at some point during the process. Many cooking documentaries, video the chef using a variety of light weight lids. Even Bamboo, especially in the Orient. I am pleased with the appearance of silver on black, when staged on the 14" Lodge Cast Iron Wok. I may attempt to upload a photo, if it is an option. The lid nests around 1/2" below the rim, on the INSIDE of the Wok. This is exactly where it is supposed to rest. The is not a pressure cooker type, precision lid. The design of the handle makes it easy to grab and hold, while I focus attention of the contents of the Wok. These lids are light weight. You can't slam them around like some people do with a non enameled, cast iron dutch oven lid for camping. They won't take it. That's not how they are intended to be used. They are light weight for a reason. The design engraved on top of the lid is not gaudy. It is unobtrusive, regarding the kitchen decor. My concern, when I ordered this lid, was the little snap hanger, on the side of the lid. I knew, if that little guy didn't stay out of the way, it was gonna wear trouble like a crown. The lid rests INSIDE the Wok, meaning the hanger would throw the lid sideways, and create a gap-every time I lifted and replaced the lid. Well, much to my pleasant surprise, this little guy snaps up and down, in a very secure fashion. It's not flimsy. If you snap it up, it remains that way, unless you snap it back down again, for hanging/storage. There was a small sticker on the outside, top, flat part of the lids. Near the handle. When I pulled it off, there was another, smaller sticker under that sticker. Chinese characters printed on it. THIS sticker, did NOT want to come off. Once the sticker came off, the adhesive underneath, was even worse. I used boiling water from the tea kettle, and soaked the area with full strength dish soap. It was still, a task. I used a soft nylon brush very carefully. It took 15 minutes. So, be careful, and remember not to be too aggressive and scratch the surface, or push TOO hard and dent the lid. This is not a complaint, but you need to have some patience. I didn't break out the steam cleaner. That was a afterthought. I believe cleanser would scratch the surface. Even BK Friend. Packaging was very protective. Bubble wrap. Don't grab the bubble wrap and start yanking on it, to get the lid out. You will warp the lid. Go get a razor knife, or another appropriate tool with which to cut the bubble wrap. Haste makes waste people. Do it correctly. These lids will be developing little marks and scuffs here and there. Signs of use. Memories. Character. This is typical of this type of finish. My lids already have a few, and I am careful in the kitchen. The other option, is a dark, painted lid, from a different manufacture. These Winco lids will fulfill their intended purpose. And the food is DELICIOUS!!!

This stainless steel cover is wonderful as its sturdy construction and polished finish not only look great but also performs exceptionally well. The cover fits perfectly over my larger pans and woks, helping to retain heat and moisture during cooking. The handle stays cool to the touch, making it easy to lift without the need for over mitts. Also, cleaning it is a breeze—-just a quick wash and it’s ready to use again. Overall, this cover has exceeded my expectations in both form and function.

Nice product, accurate listing ... but didn't work out for me.
I returned this item, but the quality was acceptable to me and the item was what I expected. Finding a dome lid for a wok that was never intended to have a lid is trial and error. Posting my experience for those dealing with a similar challenge. The listing was accurate. This is designed for a 14 inch wok where the lid sits just inside of it. My wok is smaller at 13.25 inches. I knew that this lid would sit on top of my pan, essentially a "fit over" versus a "fit inside". What encouraged me to take a chance on this was a featured customer video review in the listing that showed exactly the situation I have. They appeared to be happy with how it fit over their pan. In a dry fit test, I was not comfortable with how the lid sat on my pan. The problem for me was that the lid is very light weight and falls off the pan at the lightest touch or slightest motion. Stick with the "fit inside" use case and this lid could be perfect for your needs. It is a nice high dome if you are doing some wok'ing with a full bag of snow pea leaves from an Asian market for example.

Very nice dome wok lid for the price!
This is a nice lid. Those who say it is aluminum are WRONG! It is stainless steel. It is fairly thin metal, just like all good wok lids. Despite being thin, it IS NOT flimsy as some have said. It is actually quite rigid. Wok lids are designed to be light enough to QUICKLY move on and off of the wok to contain splatter and when steaming. I have been using woks with lids for nearly fifty years, and was trained to cook in Korea and Japan. Any professional will use the most thin and light lid they can find. This lid meets professional cooking criteria perfectly. The only fault that I found with it is that the handle mounting screws are aluminum, and are easily damaged. I went to HOME DEPOT and purchased a small pack of (steel) size 10-32 screws with a length of 5/16 inch, (the same size and specification as the ones that came with the handle) and they fit the threads in the handle perfectly! The handle is a plastic material, so DO NOT over-tighten the screws, which will strip out the threads in the handle. Now, I have a completely awesome lid! I have a 40-year old aluminum wok lid that is so thin that you can practically dent it just by looking at it, but it has still served me well over the years to contain splatters and steam. Some said the handle was missing. It and the screws are in a separate small plastic bag that is scotch-taped to the larger bag that the lid comes in ...maybe they accidently threw it away. For all of those who expected a wok lid to be as thick and heavy as their skillet lid, all I can say is "do you serve CHEESE with your WHINE?"

Extremely low quality materials, handle; doesn't fit wok
The so-called stainless steel is of the lowest quality. Material is flimsy and has already dented from something banging into it in the cabinet. The screws for the handle that are too long for the sockets in the so the handle rattles. Also, the screws are so light that just screwing them in the part where the screwdriver fits is already stripped. There's a flange around the perimeter that's flat and the size I got was supposed to fit our wok, but instead sits on top and slides off. This is a poor product in every possible way.

Light weight, real Stainless Steel cover for my LODGE cast iron griddle, PERFECT! 15+ 3/8"
I've always use aluminium foil to cover my food on my cast iron griddle, creating an oven effect. But my toxicity results showed a raised level of aluminium. This is the mainly the only place I use foil. (no can goods or drinks). So I ordered this and was very pleased that it was light weight. It seems durable and should hold up with daily use. It also fits perfectly! I tried many ways to remove the sticker's glue, with no luck. I would guess that it'll look darker with heat baking it on. Ugly. Someone said the handle was cheap. Yes, plastic and the screws seem to be aluminium, as they barely held up to attaching the handle. When and if the day comes, I'd think I could find a handle replacement, that hopefully wouldn't get too hot. The screws just go thru holes in the cover, so it's just a matter of measuring the distance between, to get the right fit. Like on a drawer. I wish I bought this sooner.

Good price, does the job, not good quality.
I didn't like the wok lid. PROS - It's affordable. - It's fits perfectly on my 14'' wok. - It's light. CONS -Very flimsy (thin metal). - The sticker on the lid was not easily removed. - The black handle plastic top is poor quality. Overall, the product it's not sturdy, right now does the job, and I hope it will last. I would not buy it again.

Decent cover but horrible screws!
I bought this 18 inch domed cover for my 18 inch wok because it was the only one available in that size that is “domed.” I don’t understand some of the reviews saying that it’s as flimsy as tin foil. I wouldn’t say that. It’s a bit extreme to say the least. It’s just fine for me. I see no problems. It’s just a lid anyway. I only will use it for steaming, simmering and keeping my food warm before serving. It’s a decent cover. Yes it comes with the plastic handle you have to install it yourself. Only took me less than 5 minutes. My only complaint is the screws they gave which are very weak and soft. What kind of screws are these? These aren’t screws! I’ve never seen anything like them. They bent or “smashed” out of shape while I screwed them in! Maybe they are made of a cheep aluminum as I find it hard to believe they are steel. If they are then it’s the cheapest quality I’ve ever seen! Even toys come with better screws. The lid itself is stronger even. At least give proper tools. I do think they will hold for a long time as I got them in tight enough that the handle doesn’t move. Let’s see or one day I’ll need to take off the handle and replace with better screws. Did I mention the word, “screws?” Still I give 5 stars.

Good value for price
Good size especially for 30-35cm wok. Steel is thin and bit tinny, but good value for price.

CHEAP TRASH, BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Inferior quality and definitely not stainless steel as the seller claims. The lid already came dented and with misaligned edges. The “stainless steel” is so soft you can push it in without any force and the handle was made with a terribly cheap plastic which was wobbly even after tightening the screws. Needless to say I returned the lid to Amazon.

beautiful lid
This lid fits both of my 14" woks, so I could not be happier. It is also very pretty with a circular decorative pattern. My husband attached the handle to the lid. It is very lightweight, made from a paper thin sheet of metal, but I do not see how it could be damaged in our kitchen. Works very well, as intended.
