They are made in China. The Wisconsin board measures (at the biggest dimensions considering the shape of the state) about 13 inches tall by 12 inches wide by 5/8 inches thick. The dimensions on the tag included match what I measured. The New Jersey board (also the biggest dimension considering the state's shape) measures 15 1/4 inches tall by 10 inches wide by 5/8 inches thick. Washing instructions are fairly simple. You can wash with warm water and a mild detergent. With a lot of my bamboo kitchen accessories, I wipe some mineral oil on them when the bamboo starts to look a little dry. This helps to give it a refreshed look. Do not place these boards in the dishwasher. I love these cutting boards and my father-in-law loved his when we gave it to him! He cuts up a lot of meat and cheese for snacks so he used it a lot right away. I use my New Jersey board too and these are well-made and easy to clean. They even come with a suede loop at the top so you can hang it up and use it as decor if you want. I'm considering getting the Wisconsin one for our family too and it's plenty big enough for cutting up a lot of food. It also makes a great conversation piece!
