I came across this cute dress and thought I'd give it a try. My usual size is XL but I was unsure this dress would be too big, so I order both sizes, one in the pattern and one solid. The solid dress is made of very cheap, very scratchy polyester (the stuff from my childhood, too hot to wear in summer and the material really absorbed body odors). The patterned dress is made with polyester but with added Rayon and Spandex, YAY!! Very soft to the feel with a nice drape. AND no hemming!! The L fit me best, tiny pucker at the top button, but nothing major as long as it launders well. I'm 5'4" with 41 inch bust. So I've bought 3 of the pattern dresses.
