The flange on the muffler pipe side had rust worn itself free from the flange bump stops. So I looked for the parts from my local auto parts store, but in order to replace it with the same parts cutting and welding is involved. So I came upon this simple yet brilliant universal flange. I read some reviews and I like what I read. The most important thing you have to know is the outer dimensions for the pipe you have. With a little bit of grinding the bolts and worn out flange off, I was finished in 5 minutes. The grinding took around 15 minutes, so in 20 minutes I was done. They fit perfectly, and they come apart like handcuffs for ease of installation. I highly recommend these flanges, but again, outside pipe dimensions are the most important thing to know to do the quick and easy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Fixed my exhaust quickly and for a very low cost. It only took about 10 minutes to do the repair. I had to cut away the old flange.I did order a smaller split flange because my front end pipe was smaller, however I would advise against using two different sizes. When I tried to install two different sizes the holes did not line up and I had some difficulty taking it back apart. Luckily I ordered three just to make sure I could get the job done without any hangups (two in this size and one 1 3/4" -2"). I also used a couple of springs from my local hardware store. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars I would order 1/4 inch bigger in size than what you think you actuelly need. Still, i am very satisfied with the product. I used them on my Dodge Ram and i dont have any complaints.
