The guides are the same so use either (or both)The screen proper comes inside a foam layer with a tab cut for screen connections.This was my first 8 plus repair, last being a 6s some time ago, but with this kit it was so much easier.The only other thing I could imagine adding to such a comprehensive kit would be a magnetic mat to aid holding screws in groups. I used a fridge magnet mat from a photo holder instead.The job took about an hour in all.First turn on and everything worked perfectly.Took my time with the black sealant, removing the old and applying the new. Application being silly easy as it's prelaid on a sheet for you, heat frame for 2 seconds, press and peel, done.Check connections and all screws are back in, close, final 2 screws and turn on.All working a treat.This kit, and it's customer service follow up email make this a real 5 star product.Arrived early the next day (Prime though)Note for seller, the mats are pennies to purchase and a godsend to use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Quality *by L***O on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 February 2020* I repair a lot of devices and use a lot of parts from different suppliers, This part in particular was great quality and most importantly it fitted snug as a bug :).
