Takes a little practice, but works well
These letters work pretty well. They can be tricky and take a little practice. The biggest tip I would have is to roll the gum paste as thin as you can. it may seem to thin, but once the letters are cut, they will look great. If you don't roll the gum paste thin enough the letters will stick in the cutters and make it impossible to get out.

Great tool, just need to know how to use it
These are perfect, you just have to know how to use them. Roll your fondant very very thin like paper, put a section of gumpaste over the letter and press it into the letter using a fondant rolling pin or fondant smoother, then flip it over and whack it against the dointer. Your letter should fall out!

They're great! I have some tips...
These make great letters. However, because they are so small, I suggest using gum paste, which costs just about as much as fondant and is just as easy to color. I suggest you roll out the gum paste very thin, cut little squares a little bigger than the letter you want, coat with powdered sugar and let set about 10 mins. This way it will be firmer and easier to remove from the cutter. I had very little trouble making these letters, the only problem I had was I picked some up too soon and they broke. Let them harden completely before you try to pick them up.

Cute and Whimsical
This product was very cute and served the purpose but original shipment came without a set of of letters (a-f), I also did not know that they came together manufactured of a stick, they were a bit tricky to get the fondant out of the letter and I had to make multiple letters that I didn't need since they were all connected in 4 rows! This made my process much more time consuming since I had to re-roll my fondant! The seller was awesome and replaced the product rapidly but it was still a bit tricky to use!

I love Tappits! They can be difficult to use if you've never used them before because the individual letters are quite small and thin. I roll out my gumpaste very thin, rub the surface with a touch of a 50/50 mix of powdered sugar and cornstarch, then let it sit for a few minutes to "surface dry" before cutting. If I don't do this, it's difficult to "tap it" out of the cutter. My writing with frosting is pretty awful so these help me to not ruin my cakes by writing on them free hand!

Update:
I don't like these. They are one long strip which makes it difficult to cut individual letters, if that were possible. The fondant is impossible to use with these. I would like to get a refund. I do not recommend.Update:Ok guys. I tried again. This time, I made the fondant very thin and cut sections small enough for individual letter. I cut by pressing down and moving from side to side. They worked! Yay! They are so thin that I had to let them dry out a little so they will hold their shape. I might try adding a little tylose powder to strengthen the fondant, but right now, drying them a bit works.😊

Great letters
I used the FMM upper and lower case script alphabet letters (CK Products) on my daughters’ birthday cake. I used with 50%/50% gum paste/fondant. They were a beautiful addition to my daughters’ cake.

Great item and easy to use.

Excellent product.
Good quality product. It arrived in good condition. It takes a bit of practice to use. The key is to have the fondant at the right consistency. I have used it successfully lots of times now.

Jolies lettres mais peu pratique
Difficile de faire sortir la pâte à sucre sans abîmer les lettres.... Il faut beaucoup de minutie.

Love these
I love these tappits, the trick is to roll your icing so so thin and then leave to dry for about 30/45 mins, this makes them so much easier to tap out.
