**Q: So what happens if you misplace the flat rubber disk that goes on top of filter? How may I go about replacing it?**
A: Hello,

The newer PJ6000 has the whole on the top sealed and the rubber disk is not needed (only for fitting). But if it is an older design with the whole on top the rubber disk is needed to make sure that all the water is properly filtered.

A: Hello Jose,Thank you for your question. I am not quite sure if this is an authorized dealer since it is Amazon but that is not an accurate number in liters or gallons. Based on quality of water it could last up to 9000 liters (2377.5 gallons) but the recommendation is to replace this filter about every 6 months if you don't have a pre-filter or every 12 months if you do.Thank you.
