This harp will make most professional harpists cringe, but I needed something cheap to practice on while I'm out of town. Some of the lower strings sound rather warm and lovely, but the higher you go on the harp, the plinkier it sounds. The levers will not work while playing mid piece, they are too hard to move and adjust into the proper position. However, If you have a piece that is all one key signature, they will work if you set them just right before hand. There is a bit of a buzz on most of the levers. I will probably replace them with nicer ones. If you want a cheap harp that you don't have to worry about traveling with or taking outside, this may be the right harp for you! I wouldn't recommend this as a first harp for beginners. There is just too much diy fixing you will wind up having to do. Also, I don't know how long this harp is going to last without some major repairs. The soundboard is already very pregnant, so we shall see if she cracks. I did my research, so I knew I wasn't getting the best, and she turned up exactly as I expected. I love her, and she's a lot of fun, but I want to make sure you know what you are getting if you purchase this harp.
