Review: great and convenient and minimalist - so i bought this about 6 months ago, and finally had a chance to use it, it works great, the adjustment tab thing has like a squeegee to it so you can slide it closed to scrape off measurements from the spoon. it works good, but the extra convenience was that i didnt have to switch between measuring spoons when going from tablespoon to teaspoon measurements for recipees.
Review: PERFECT! - I had one but it mysteriously disappeared! I bought individual spoons to make up the difference but they are a PAIN to deal with! One spoon for this, more dishes... UGH! This is THE BEST SPOON, EVER! It goes from 1/4tsp up to 1 tbsp. The black piece moves pretty easily but the new one I just received is quit stiff. Maybe adjustability (is that even a word??) varies with each batch? The black part comes off pretty well & thought it says "dishwasher safe", the dishwasher detergent pitted my last one. It's very quick & easy to clean with simple dish soap or just water. As long as I don't lose this one, I'll never need another measuring spoon again.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does this work for liquid measurements?**
A: Yes it does. I did find the plastic started to degrade after a couple of years so I did have to buy a new one at that point. But it did still work for everything but liquids. BTW-I love these. :)

**Q: Can you buy the rubber slider separately?**
A: I am not aware of being able to do that... I would not buy this item again - in addition to the rubber slider deteriorating, the metal surfaces corrode!

**Q: Are they dishwasher safe?**
A: No, mine degraded in the dishwasher

**Q: does it measure 1 cup?**
A: it does not measure a cup and, although you did not ask, i would not recommend these items.  i found similar items at wal mart that were plastic and each cost under a buck.  the plastic is holding up like new and i use these daily in my restaurant.
