The white side or the gray Rough S** A: No it is not a stupid question. I got confused too in the beginning. You use the gray (rough) side of the pad. The headlight looks little hazy after the application. But the spray brings the shine back. **Q: I used this last night without realizing it will rain today. Directions on the spray says to wait 24 hours before exposing to water. Am I in trouble?** A: If it looks fine you should be fine. The 24 hour recommendation is very conservative to cover all environments and situations. If it dried for a few hours it may be totally fine. **Q: How well will this work for my 1997 Avalon?
