I have POTS and EDS and recently started doing yoga again to help manage my symptoms and pain, and this mat was great value for its price. I got the thinner one because it was cheaper (even though I hate thinner mats usually) and it was surprising how comfy this one was! It’s soft in all the right ways and makes exercise hurt way less for my joints. There was zero sliding around on it, it’s super stable. The length is perfect. I got the purple one for myself and the light blue one for my husband so I can force him to work out with me, and the colors are so bright and pretty. If you are looking to do yoga for Dysautonomia then this is the mat you’re looking for!

I had been using an old second hand 1/8 inch thick mat for a long time then realized it was time for an upgrade. This 1/2" thickness is very supportive and comfortable. The only drawback for me is that its compliant surface makes it very challenging for single leg poses! My balance is not good enough for that moving surface. The surface stretch is good when doing wide leg poses where a lot of pressure is exerted by the feet. As a beginner to yoga this is adequate for my needs.

It's perfect and comfortable

Never used this for yoga so I can't write about that. Judging from what the others are saying, it's a pretty cruddy product for yoga. Thank goodness I'm not using it for that purpose. After deciding to commit to a more serious exercise regimen, I soon found myself needing a product like this (ever tried to do planks for the first time on a linoleum floor when you can barely do 10 pushups? Yeah, not fun. Your elbows will hate you). It does everything I want it to, and provides a cushy surface for me to do my strength-based exercises on. It has a sort of memory-foam-like texture to it and is thick, which is great. One thing I didn't like is that my mat came with a permanent imprint of where the straps had been, which is a purely aesthetic gripe but a gripe nonetheless. It's also pretty big, but that's to be expected since it's about half an inch thick. And you have to be careful with the straps, because they're elastic so the mat tends to slide out of them easily if you're not careful. But overall, if you're looking for a cheap yet great mat to exercise on and NOT yoga, this is the way to go! Can't speak about the longevity of this mat just yet, but I'll update my review in about a year or so, since I use this product pretty much every day.

High quality, love the design, thickness and size. Very functional for yoga, Pilates or just any floor workout. No odor and very easy to move around

I got this for my husband. He puts it under his exercise ball as he sits on it lifting weights and doing sit ups. It stops the ball from sliding around and causing him to slip off. He also does planks on it. He says it’s very stable, thick, soft, and comfortable. It’s very sturdy and durable. The last one he had got ripped up very easily and this one is much better quality.

I highly recommend this mat, particularly for anyone with knee issues. I've been using it regularly for my yoga practice on hard wood floors, and it provides excellent cushioning and comfort. A great bonus is that it lays perfectly flat as soon as I unroll it, even though I store it rolled up. It has held up well over the past few months with no problems, and the included straps make it very convenient to carry. I'm very happy with the quality for the price.

I like that this mat is a little thicker than some. I had a thinner one and it just didn't do enough. Great decision to buy this one. I use it about once a week and mine is 2 years old. Only thing wrong with it is that the dog's toenails put a small tear in one spot. It's still usable and if I decide to replace it, I'll buy another mat just like this one. (normally it's not a problem but this dog was running and gouged it).
