This sturdy wooden bench is designed for meditation in the "seiza" or kneeling position. Handcrafted in Vermont from beautiful deep grained hardwoods, it comes sanded and unfinished. Review: A Real Game Changer - I bought this for my husband, who has been meditating for years on a cushion and was starting to experience pain in his back and feet. A few weeks after using it his posture is better and there is no longer Painful pressure on his feet. In addition, shipping was fast and it was packed safely (although with a million packing peanuts). Overall amazing! Review: Good quality but needed more height - Well made but not tall enough. I needed more height to comfortably kneel.
