Review: Well designed and made - Our 90x190 bed arrived well before the expected date, well packed in cardboard and bubble wrap. Really pleased with this bed (although not yet slept on it). The inset legs make it perfect for our small room which has moulding around the skirting board so couldn't fit in a bed with legs right in the corners. Fitting the legs was easy and required no tools. Seems very sturdy. The slats have about a 6cm gap between them so should suit the John Lewis pocket sprung mattress we are getting. The rounded corners would make this a safe bed to have jutting out from the wall - no sharp corners to bang legs on.

The slats are good, solid wood, well integrated into the frame (no plastic clips, which from past experience end up crazing, splitting and the slats slide around), the frame being solidly jointed and decent gauge steel section. Putting together is something even my horrendous DIY skills couldn't get wrong. The legs screw in using chunky steel bolts, you don't even need a spanner, as the frame is slotted to hold the bolt head in place as you screw on the legs. Up in minutes, will last you years. I'm really happy with it!

**Q: Does a single bed 90 x 190 cm take standard UK single matress 90 x 190 cm?**
A: This bed is slightly longer than standard UK single, but if your mattress is also this slightly longer length, then yes, it will fit. Good solid bed and I'm thinking of buying another for my other growing son! Definitely recommend.

**Q: How much are the legs inset? i.e. distance from outside edge of frame to the outside of a leg ... as a reviewer said, the issue is skirting boards.**
A: They are inset from the frame by about half an inch if that helps

**Q: is the metal frame one piece or can it be disassembled for transportation?**
A: Good morning,the metal frame is an entire piece of metal, so it can't be disassembled, for a double size or more the solution is to buy two bed bases, for exaple: for a 160x190 cm bed base you can buy two 80x190 cm bed base and with the help of some plastic bands to create a double size bed base.Remaining at your disposalKind regardsGiulio

**Q: what's the distance between the leg and the edge of the bed frame? i need to know if there is a gap between where the leg is and the end of the frame.**
A: Legs are set in equally from the ends of the bed and the side by 65mm. Sorry I didn't reply sooner but I've been away on leave.

we bought this for our adult daughter, we needed a bed to fit in the alcove and a regular single bed was about 2 cm to long, this bed fits exactly but a single mattress fits on it perfectly, she is 5'9" and says it is really comfortable and very sturdy. you only have to attach the legs when it arrives so very easy to set up and although there was a slightly longer delivery time, as I think it came from Italy, it actually arrived almost a week early. we highly recommend this bed.
