So many of these poems I have felt in the 26 years I've been alive, and sometimes even feel today. Which I'm learning a lot of people deal with problems but this book gives me hope that one day I'll feel at home with myself but until that day I'm going to keep waking up and keep trying to get to that point. I'm happy I'm further than I was before but right now I'm no where near where I want to be. This is one when I'm having a dark, down day I'll be able to pick this book up and know that I will get through it. There is always light as long as you believe. Never give up. Review: My favorite - This is my second copy of this book because the first one I gave to my best friend because I felt that the poems would make her feel better. These are not your typical poems you find in a lot of books that are hard to understand, these are written simple with a big impact behind the words. While the themes are similar to those found in 'Please Don't Go Before I Get Better,' I was blown away by the growth and maturity she shows in these new poems.
