So I have had new roses in these (roses were sprouting already when purchased) and temps went down to 14F total ice in the walls...but with the warming of the temps during the day the ice melted and the roses were perfect. We do have an extreme climate in the mountians with 50F swings during the winter most of the time. This presents challeges which walls o water help with. I have abotu 36 of these ...the neg is sometimes they do pop a leak. Then they need repaired.
