Review: Great buy - I’m a commercial road service technician I remove a lot of 33 mm lug, nuts off big rigs. I carry a DeWalt DCF964 3/4” cordless impact wrench with for situations where my airlines couldn’t reach or winter where airlines freeze up or just for the convenience of not having to drag around an air hose for my air impact. DCF 964 will remove pretty much anything but I was having issues being able to reach the lug nuts on the rear of a semi due to the hub being in the way, so I needed a deeper deep socket, snap on sells one for like 200 bucks but in this economy, I wasn’t going to spend that kind of money on one socket. So in my search for a similar socket like the snap on but at an affordable price I found this sunex socket. I was a little bit skeptical at first because it looks like a socket welded to an extension and I wasn’t sure how that would affect torque. I know if it was a regular extension and socket it would reduce torque significantly but since this isn’t that and it is a one piece socket it does not seem to affect torque at all, actually with the weight of this socket, it seems to improve torque due to inertia. Overall, it’s a great socket for removing 33 mm lug nuts i’ve been using it for several months so far on a daily basis and I’ve had no issues.
