Still has the PS/2 style mouse/keyboard jacks, I like that. I put in a i5-3570k and had no trouble at all, it booted fine. The bios is well laid out and even includes advanced features for my chip and OC Genie which does the overclock parameters for you. I didn't try it yet. It may be a basic board, but it works great and offers a Great Value. Solid caps, probably run perfect for 20 years. This board also has pin headers for com/serial & parallel (old legacy) ports, but does not have the physical jacks. I still have things needing both types of ports, and spare parts to create these jacks for old scanners, printers, etc. New PCs will not even have these legacy options. MSI has made a well designed motherboard which can still accept the old gizmos (if needed) and yet run state of the art processors. 5 Stars! Review: Practical choice for either legacy or current OS; value-priced - This is a great "transition" motherboard that will run Windows 10 as well as legacy Windows XP, for example. Wouldn't post no matter what I did. Hopefully the replacement board is better. I ordered MSI only because my previous build with a Z77M-G45 performed flawlessly. But then again all computer parts are prone for DOA. Will update when replacement board comes in. EDIT: So I got my replacement the very next day after putting in my return order. Can't say more about amazon prime, I absolutely love it. The replacement board went off without a hitch. Everything loaded up fine, had to download the drivers online because I didn't build this computer with a cd drive, but no worries. However, the thing about the past 2 MSI boards I have used (my primary build is a z77m-g45) the PCI Simple Communications Controller, and unknown device never get installed in my device manager. Doesn't matter to me, I'm probably just neglecting something. Anyways, it's a good mobo for the price, if you get a DOA one just return it and get a replacement if not go with a different brand.
