## Description

System cabinet - Mid tower - Micro ATX - Power supply - Black

Review: You get what you pay for...and then some here. - For those reading the small handful of negative reviews on this case I'd say you should safely be able to ignore them. The short end is that this case is a great value for how little it costs. Dont expect a $300 case when ordering a $30 case and you'll be very rewarded with the quality. System built using this case: AMD 6300 6-core Overclocked to 4.3ghz MSi 970 chipset 970a-g43 10GB ddr3 1600 mhz ram BFG 550W Modular power supply Kingston 120gb SSD Sata 3 1TB Seagate HD 2x 750GB Seagate HD in Raid HD 7750 Radeon video card First of all, I built this system to use strictly as a workstation, with the ability to lightly game if the urge struck me. This case provides key features that I can't believe I see others complaining about. Small size overall with the ability to handle 5 120mm fans not including the 120mm fan your power supply uses. Hold all my hard drives securely. No sharp edges or weird bends or tweaks that you find in similarly priced budget cases. Basically you're reading this review because you're wondering if the price is worth the value of this case, it absolutely is. If you want tool less for every drive in your system (I remove the tool less design and use screws-I wont be swapping out drives too often so who cares really?), then look elsewhere and spend more money. Its a great budget minded case with great build quality even though its using thinner metal. In auto CAD I run a very nice 52 degrees under load using 4 120mm fans (front back bottom and one on the top) I did not have an issue with the fan hitting my ram, and I am running ram that DOES have a pretty burly heat sync. The power and reset buttons feel solid, and the front panel was removed about 10 times the first day installing everything without even the slightest issue. Would I build some crazy high end gaming system in this case? No, I'd spend more money on a nice full size case. But for my needs, this thing is perfect. P.S. corsair 100i water-cooling now installed as well using the top mounts for the fans, and it finally did hit the ram, albeit I solved the issue by mounting the fan outside the case. This case is obviously way under par for a system running a big watercooler, but I decided that having the 100i sitting around was better put to use.
Review: Outstanding Case - I'm very happy to be leaving a review for this as I would like to touch on somethings people are either complaining about, or are just wrong. This is the SECOND Thermaltake V3 I own for two of my builds, so I can honestly say that I have spent a decent amount of time with this case, and know quite a lot about it. First off, if you're looking for a great case for your ATX or Micro ATX build, this is great. You don't need to be a gamer to buy this case. Even if I didn't plan to do any gaming, I would still highly consider this case just because of the air flow. This case can put out some serious air flow when you add the extra fans which brings me to talking about adding fans. I know a lot of you guys who have bought this claim you CAN'T mount fans up top because you can't get them in, or the case only supports one fan up top. True, and not true. If you're not installing crazy gaming looking ram sticks, you will have no issue mounting fans up there. Yes, you will need to wiggle / force them in a little as it will be a tight squeeze but what I do is I put my hand inside, and push up on the plastic, I guess in a way forming a half inch more room, and at the same time, wiggling the 120mm fan right into place, and screwing it in from the top. Very easy!!! Another thing people claim is that you can't add a fan in the front....YES YOU CAN....the fan DOES NOT go between the bezel and the case....it goes behind the front of the case between the case and the drive bays. There is a gap there, you'll see it, the fan goes in there, and you put the screws in from behind the bezel. It's super easy. I recommend the Thermaltake AF0032 fans. They fit perfect, and match the color of the stock fan PERFECTLY. Just be careful removing stuff from the case like the bezel and stuff, as if you're not careful, and not careful with the clips, you'll break it. I haven't but I'm very careful. Hope this helps.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Good case, cheap company
*by A***O on November 14, 2011*

It's a great case that fits everything perfectly, with a cool little window and vents, placements for fans. Here's my problem with them -- they only include ONE rear case fan. My philosophy is, if you push so hard on the point of great airflow, include a goddamn intake fan (less than $10!!!) To make matters worse, none of the many screws included are for a fan in the front (which is EXTREMELY important as my case is red hot without it...the difference is night and day) and the screws I do have to get are 10cm because the damn case doesnt even have a bracket for me to put my fan in. So now im gonna lug on over to Home Depot, only to hope and pray it works. Also, there's a space for a case fan on top, but an average thickness fan wont fit between the top and the RAM, so I had to hunt down a thin fan...and more screw. It's all just a bunch of extra work that could have been solved by less laziness and cheapness from this company. Although they use good material, they obviously could give a rat's ass about the customer -- never ordering a product off these guys again.
