It has a thin plastic film sealed across the top, and a little plastic lid that sits UNDER the cup (for use after opening). This is important to note, because when the seller ships this in a SOFT PADDED PAPER ENVELOPE, everything listed above gets totally destroyed and you have to scrape an explosion of blue goo out of the shipping package. Yes, the jello cup gets smooshed, the sealing film breaks, the plastic lid gets cracked, and the paper packaging gets saturated and disintegrates into the putty.Once you scoop this crap out of the envelope and start picking out the wet, disintegrated paper, you realize that this goo leaves a hard-to-remove blue film from whatever it touches.
