Rocker Switch Mounting Bracket 3014188

The finish was great and very nice piece. My toggle switch fit this bracket perfectly.

Bought on Amazon from Crimp Supply Inc on 13 Sep 2023 for $11.18. I really wish sellers would measure their stuff and give dimensions, sure would cut down on the inefficiencies of returns and negative reviews HINT HINT. But as it is, I took a chance and it panned out…this time. I needed to mount a standard size rectangular rocker switch (Panel Mount, Snap-In) that calls for an opening of 37.x by 21.x mm. So for everyone else, here are the dimensions for this bracket: Rectangular ID Hole: 37.3mm by 21.3mm Bracket Width: 76.6mm Bracket Thickness: 2.0mm Bracket Front Flange (top face to bottom of flange edge): 19mm Bracket Rear Flange (top face to bottom of flange edge): 51mm Two Round holes ID: 6.7mm each Two Round holes c2c: 44mm Two Round Holes center from bottom of flange edge: 13.3mm Mine was in a baggie in a box by itself and does have scratches. The scratches are on the metal before it was powder coated. I am not a fan of powder coat for wear and longevity but in this case I didn’t care. YMMV The 2mm thickness is substantial, the bracket does not flex easily and certainly not while operating the switch. Saved me a lot of time and effort having to make my own.

Bracket was a little bigger than I anticipated but very sturdy. I was concerned about flex but the metal was very ridgid especially with the 90 degree bends. I customized it for my use by trimming the holes away and making a notch to help secure it where I was placing it. I used 3m double sided tape instead of drilling into my dashboard. The only glitch was the rectangle needed to be trimmed in order to fit the switch. I'd recommend it.

Purcahsed this to surface mount a switch that couldn't be recessed. The bracket mounted easily, allowing access to wire the switch from the rear and using a loom make things neat. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Worked good

Two problems with this switch holder, both correctable, the hole is slightly larger then a standard rocker switch, well have to silicone it in to make it solid and not wiggle around, second because of packaging it arrived all scratched up, so a new paint job has to be done if visual is needed and I did, other then that the bracket itself is good quality, thick metal would buy again...as a suggestion to the manufacturer if they powder coated it ... probably would solve both problems, powder coating is a much more scratch resistant paint and is thicker coating
