This is not SIO2 CERAMIC at all. It is small nano sized particles of carnauba wax

basically does this product contain sio2 (aka ceramic/silica / silicon dioxide)? and if so the percentage of it?

Not sure but this works great, been using it for years, brings out the shine very good. Also Wax as u dry amazing stuff, I have an 06 Civic that looks pretty much as it did in 06, Brings out the metallic very well

Can this be used as a detail spray?

'Used it for detailing since it hit the shelves...You won't be disappointed...

How long does the product last on the car? How good does it do in repelling water?

I'd say used by itself it would last 1-2 months. But this depends on how much rain, snow, and car wash use the car sees. More abuse like that decreases the effective time. I use it once a month to extend the life and protection of my regular wax (einszett glanz wax/sealant) until about 6 months, which is a job it does wonderfully.When using this wax I can see water beading and sliding across the paint quite easily. More so than with regular carnauba wax alone. So I would say the claims of hydrophobic qualities of this product are correct.
