It feels light and crappy but sounds great. I used a Pioneer MVH-S300BT with this because I was unsure of the space available in the dash and this unit is smaller than others that have a CD player. With all the factory connectors, 2 black boxes from this, and the Pioneer it is a tight fit, I would not recommend trying to install this with a CD player, there is just not much room. But, after turning the 4 gain screws all the way up, the bass is great, sounds crisp, and the volume on the Pioneer can go from 0 all the way to 62 and sound right. All the wires are color coded to match the receiver, installation was reasonably straightforward. There is one wire that is for the factory amp turn on signal. I hooked it up but I had everything on while I wired it and I did not notice any difference, as if the amps are always on. Also, there are two 'red' wires that are actually pink, and the instructions say the red wire (singular) goes to the stereo power. Actually, both red (pink) wires get spliced together and both feed the receiver power. Other than that it's pretty self explanatory. Would certainly buy again!
