LOVE THIS TRUTHPASTE! Healed my life long bleeding gums and dry mouth! Worth the price! *by C***M on Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2015* First, I almost NEVER write reviews... so something really has to dazzle me to get me this far!I take numerous medications that cause severe dry mouth, and no matter what I have tried in the past when I'd brush my gums would bleed very badly. I've been slowly getting away from chemicals and aiming for more natural products/treatments for myself lately, so I was very intrigued to see this great mix of essential oils, clays, and other natural healing components, that I know work, in Truthpaste.So, i got my little tub in the mail and as a daily consumer of internal clays, was ready for a gritty, earthy tasting brushing experience. Was I wrong! Very smooth feeling, not earthy tasting or gritty! Notes of cinnamon are what I tasted..and it didn't burn my dry mouth like regular mint crest. When i was done (theres no sulfate, so it doesn't foam and i didn't look like a rabid dog with bloody foam dripping from my mouth!) my teeth felt like they were fresh out of a dental cleaning, smooth but not coated in glycerin.. a true clean. I did not have any grit between my teeth as some reviewers have complained about. I also have my tounge pierced and the Truthpaste didn't hurt my piercing. Also, I used a regular toothbrush, and the leftover paste rinsed cleanly from my brush (I'll be getting a natural bamboo brush soon!) as eell as from my sink.But, best of all, after a week of using it twice a day, NO MORE BLEEDING GUMS! And my dry mouth seems to be getting better. It is pricey (I never thought I'd pay $17 for a small tub of toothpaste, but quality doesn't come cheap!) Well worth every penny. And i put just a thin layer on my brush, not a thick strip like tube pastes, so I have no doubt it will last me a good while. My teeth feel fairly clean all day long even after eating/drinking. I genuinely think this product is helping with remineralization. The container lasts for a pretty long time since you don't need much per use. Cons - This product doesn't taste bad while brushing my teeth but it just leaves a weird taste in my mouth when I'm done. I usually follow up with Uncle Harry's tooth drops to remove the lingering flavor. My kid, who has vehemently refused to ever use anything like Crest or the regular junk, loved Uncle Harry's from the start.After about 6 weeks of use, my teeth are also much whiter (not using any other product aside from Uncle Harry's Toothpaste, although I'm keen to try their re-mineralization products next). That was a welcome surprise. Much less bad breath all day, too. I really look forward to brushing my teeth with Uncle Harry's.I also wondered about some of the ingredients in Truthpaste -- I don't with Uncle Harry's and there's a lot less ingredients, too boot.
