**Q: Do you have to put masking tape on the plastic first before using this drill bit? Or will the holes be smooth without using tape?**
A: I drilled over 50 holes in 1/4" acrylic for a speaker grille and didn't tape anything.  The acute angle of the cutting edge eliminates the "grab" and chip of normal bits.  Do keep the drill speed on the low side and don't push the bit too hard.

**Q: What makes this so special for plastic?**
A: It is narrow at the tip, making it less aggressive.

**Q: What size/number screw do I use with this 1/8”?**
A: Plexiglass expands and contracts a bit with temperature changes, so a slightly undersized screw generally works best....

**Q: when drilling acrylic should I use high speed or low speed? high pressure or low feed pressure?**
A: Lows fine. No need for a lot of pressure.
